Special commands that apply to most Infocom games:
BRIEF - this means "describe fully a location the first time I enter, but if I come back later, just tell me the name of the location and any objects that are present". The game starts as BRIEF.
SUPERBRIEF - this means "just tell me the name of the location--I know the rest!", not even objects are mentioned,
VERBOSE - this means "give me the full description of the location any time I enter. I want to be sure I didn't forgot it!"
DIAGNOSE - with this you are checking yourself to see if you are missing a leg or something!
INVENTORY - or "I" for short, will tell you what you are carrying.
LOOK - or "L" for short. It will redescribe the location you are in.
QUIT - this typically freezes the computer and you have to switch it off!
RESTORE - RESTART - SAVE - you know these!
SCRIPT - If you have a printer (or an emulator that supports a printer) you can use this command to copy on paper whatever you see on the screen.
UNSCRIPT - stops your printer after SCRIPT.
SCORE - your score.
TIME - the time. You may have to wear a watch or something for this one!
VERSION - shows again the start-up info.
WAIT - time passes.
