INFOSSTRUCTURE Chargement : RUN"GWARRIOR.BAS Version de : Ross SIMPSON - COMMENTAIRE -Game was originally made for CPC464 and is consequently harder to play on 464 than a 664/6128 due to the use of TXT RD CHAR I suspect, will still have to modify M/C or BASIC so it plays the same. - CORRECTIONS -As suspected this game is using TXT RD CHAR, which works slightly different on a 464. When you're playing this game, the Dark Blue trail you leave has a collision effect if you try and cross it on a 464 because TXT RD CHAR Returns ASCII value (#143) for it and the same applies for the Bright Blue Boundary & Squares Randomly placed on the grid. BASIC 1.1 handles this differently where the game will only detect the Bright Blue Boundary & Random Squares on the Grid, but won't detect the Dark Blue Trail. Why? TXT RD CHAR (#BB60) under BASIC 1.1 checks PEN colour where's BASIC 1.0 doesn't.
